Man kicked out of court for wearing Celtic shirt

Was made to leave sentencing hearing after judge spotted him.

A Celtic fan was reportedly kicked out of Paisley Sheriff Court in Scotland after the judge spotted him wearing a replica shirt.

The man was said to have been attending a sentencing hearing at the location in Paisley last month.

Just moments after entering court, Sheriff Frances McCartney apparently spotted the supporter in a 1988 centenary Celtic shirt.

Her bar officer, from the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, was immediately ordered to remove him from the building, telling the fan of the Scottish Premiership champions:

You’ll need to leave – you’re not appropriately dressed for court.
