(Former?) MLS star and footballing castaway Landon Donovan has been found in Cambodia, playing football on “Song Saa Private Island in Preah Sihanouk Ville”.
Currently taking a break from football after winning the title with LA Galaxy, he is missed by his (former?) team-mates.
Earlier this week Galaxy centre-back Omar Gonzalez tweeted on behalf of the team in an attempt to find his pal:
Missing person… Please help us out. instagr.am/p/WM7f0lu43Y/

And now the United States international all-time leading scorer has been found in Cambodia as these tweets from the editor of Thmey Thmey Online reveal:
@landondonovan was at Song Saa Private Island in Preah Sihanouk Ville, now i think he’s in SR. Source: Sabay Web twitter.com/roubroum/statu…

It turns out that this recent quote tweeted by a Galaxy fan was to be believed:
On religion: “i’m not religious…I’m leaving tonight and going to Cambodia for 10 days…I believe in being a good person”
