A Euro 2016 hotel has banned Brits and says guests must drink water and speak French if they wish to reside there during the upcoming tournament in France.

Hotel Bollaert, next to the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens, is set to be overwhelmed with fans requiring somewhere to stay as England take on Wales in the group stage.

The commune has a population of 32,000, less than the total capacity of the venue and thousands of ticketless supporters are also set to descend on the Lensois despite warnings from authorities to stay away.

After problems in the past with England fans, Isabelle Parrain is quoted by Mirror Online as saying:

I won’t have any of those fans here.

They drink more and more and get very violent and we have to call the police.

We know there will be problems but we can’t all just close.

I’m going to say to guests, “you must drink water and you must speak in French”.

I’m not looking forward to this tournament if it’s the same sort of people.

They are loud and aggressive.

I think Wales fans are the same.

The only difference is the shirt.

They all come from the UK.

We can’t understand why they all come if they haven’t got tickets.

It’s not normal.
