Watch as Chesterfield’s Gary Roberts pulls down shorts belonging to Cheltenham Town’s Russell Penn during a League Two clash between the clubs on Saturday.
The home side came out on top as the match finished 2-0 to Chesterfield, thanks to a deflected effort from the man himself – Gary Roberts – and a last minute strike from Eoin Doyle.
The highlight of the game, however, came as Cheltenham Town’s Russell Penn was obstructing a Chesterfield free-kick within shooting range.
Standing around in-front of the ball, helping to organise his team’s defensive wall, Penn was facing towards the goal with his back to both the referee and Gary Roberts, who was placing the ball.
As the referee attempts to nudge Penn out of the way, Roberts reaches over and pulls down the opposing player’s shorts.
Penn slowly turns around, perhaps in shock and presumably hoping for some sort of punishment to be doled out to the offender, but the match official simply smiles and signals for play to continue.
