Harry Redknapp’s Queens Park Rangers finally got a Premier League win under their belts by beating Fulham 2-1 at Loftus Road courtesy of a brace from Adel Taarabt, so Football Burp shimmied on down to QPR forums qprdot.org and WeAreTheRangersBoys.com to see what folk had to say about their Moroccan midfielder…

QPR Legend.

Instrumental in winning the Championship, standout player when we beat Chelsea last season, played a key role in our relegation fight last season and the best player on the pitch in our first win against Fulham in nearly 30 years.

We salute you, Adel.

He is perfectly suited to us, he plays with the class of rangers heroes that we’ve become so accustomed to over the years

True genius not many if any could roll that ball and pass it with the outside of his boot into the net, he beat the keeper by the pure surprise element.

Also when dropped from a match day squad by Hughes, he was more than happy to chat and take photos, fast becoming a legend.

The only player worthy of the number 10 shirt and we are very lucky to have him. If he can become consistent he can on to play for any team in Europe as the natural ability he has is very rare and who else in the premier league could have scored that 2nd goal yesterday. I was sitting behind the goal and tv piture’s do not do it justice..

Adel’s too good for us. We better get good soon, otherwise he will be gone…owing us nothing.

I feel a bit like a dodgy old man married to a cute, lithe, aspiring young actress. If I don’t get fit and wealthy soon, she will be gone…

He is the best thing to happen at Rangers for a very long time. I think we all love him the same for what he has done for us since day 1! Noticed Harry said yesterday (albeit making another point) that he thought he was worth £20m (hope he stays – he is worth £100m if he keep us up!)
