On the plus side…

“Tell you what, I was on the edge of my seat all game. We were average but I still enjoyed it. Kolarov’s cross. What a ball.. It was perfect! Happy to take the 3 points after a very tough game, we just have to get through the next couple of away games. Also it was one of those games we would have been romped last year, very happy we got the win”Gobby, www.mancityforum.co.uk

“Dzeko’s record is unbelievable and yet I’d still rather have Aguero and or Balotelli start ahead of him in big games. For 40 minutes today I was frustrated with him and then he produces a great run, skips past a defender and buries it in the bottom corner. Then he went missing for a bit before another good run and great cross for Silva’s goal. He’s a bit of an enigma for me. What I’d like to see is for him to become more physical, I’d like him to watch videos of the likes of Drogba, Shearer, hell even Kevin Davies, and learn from them, because if he can use his height and strength to become a striker that defenders can’t deal with physically, like Drogba was a couple of years ago, he’d be truly immense.”kenzie115, forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk

“Personally, i think Mancini has not just taught tactics to our players, but i think he’s also educating some of our fans too. In the Pearce/Hughes days, if we did as many as 2 passes along the back 4, people would scream “play it forward!”, “stop passing sideways!”, etc, etc. But gradually, more and more of our fans are understanding that the whole point of it is to draw their midfield out, and create space ‘inbetween the lines’. Opposition fans can boo all they like, but our players are tactically superior to pretty much every team we face and will continue to play the way they know works.”Tricky_Trev, forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk

On the down side…

“Savic is not the class of player we need in reserve for komps and lescott….onouha, boyata (yep i know he’s out on loan), even kolo are better and more apt to have dealt with a lets face it ageing forward in helguson and a newby in boothroyd..”blueinyorkshire, www.mancityforum.co.uk

“I think its about time that Bobby stepped in a took issue with Cappello and asked him what is his problem. Micah is in the form of his life and yet he is still over looked for lesser players. Something needs to happen right now he was there on Saturday at QPR and there against the rags surely his exclusion has to be down to personal rather than football reasons.”Mike D, forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk

“If Mancini is up for Tevez playing for us again he’s horribley mis-reading the feelings of the supporters.”South East Citizen, www.mancityforum.co.uk
