José Mourinho has lashed out angrily at the perpetrators of the exploded bus in Dortmund, pointing out that you’re only supposed to park the bloody thing.
Borussia Dortmund’s team bus was damaged in an explosion prior to their scheduled Champions League fixture against Monaco, which will now take place tomorrow evening.
The Bundesliga side’s defender Marc Bartra broke his wrist in the incident, while shock waves travelling as far as the south coast of England managed to rupture Jack Wilshere’s Achilles tendon strings.
Speaking exclusively to Football Burp, Manchester United manager Mourinho bewailed the senseless waste of a perfectly good bus.
He cried: “Take it from someone who won the Champions League with around twenty per cent possession, that’s not how you defend your way to glory.
“What’s the point in blowing it up? Sure the game is postponed so they’ll keep a clean sheet tonight, but what will they do tomorrow night?
“In any case, I’m truly sorry to hear that Daniel Sturridge fractured his metatarsal ligaments in the blast.
“What rotten luck.”
