PSG have informed FIFA that they are not in breach of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations due to their considerable income from selling Avon products.

Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is often seen at games handing out catalogues and is believed to have tied up his local neighbourhood with an army of local grannies buying up lavender-based perfumes.

Even recent acquisition Neymar has been selling bath bombs to the rest of the Brazil squad to boost sales.

A club spokesman said: “Mr Al-Khelaifi does not pound the streets pushing catalogues through letterboxes only to be accused of not being able to pay his way.

“He is doing good business. Some of the night creams can go for as much as £15, so it’s easy to see how he can afford 222 million euros for Neymar.”

Mr Al-Khelaifi was unavailable for comment but a recent Facebook post did state: “Orders going in tonight ladies, get involved.”
