Leicester City have reappointed Claudio Ranieri as manager after realising that they’re actually having another amazing season after all.

The Foxes progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 2-0 win over Sevilla last night, prompting widespread reevaluation of their 2016-17 campaign.

It had previously been thought to be a major disappointment following last season’s shock Premier League title win, resulting in Ranieri’s sacking.

Now it has become clear that they’re actually in the midst of another wonder season, the Italian has been reinstated at the King Power Stadium on an Alan Pardew style eight-year deal.

He told Football Burp: “Dilly ding dilly dong, motherf***ers – I’m back!

“And you all thought I’d lost the dressing room and was taking the club on a one-way trip to Championshipville.

“Turns out I was inspiring them to unlikely Champions League success, so you can all line up over there to apologise to me.

“Right, back to the tinkering.”
