David Moyes was today appointed as West Ham’s new manager after the club sacked Slaven Bilić following a 1-4 defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday.
The former Manchester United sensation, who has spent time in Spain as well as Sunderland since leaving Everton, has been brought in to attempt to save the relegation-threatened side from relegation.
These are the best of the Bilić sacked jokes as West Ham appoint David Moyes to replace him:
Going from Bilic to Moyes is like finally escaping Fritzl's basement to then finding out you're going abroad with the McCann's.

G&S obviously still not convinced that Bilic can get us relegated so are looking to bring in David Moyes just to be sure.

Nice to see Hammers sack useless foreign manager Slaven Bilic and appoint a British manager. A Hard Brexit approach is needed, Daniel Moyes is a good manager. Finished 10th 15 seasons in a row at Everton. Steady as she goes.

West Ham sacking Slaven & appointing Moyes is like dumping a woman for being too lazy during sex, and then buying a blow up doll.

West Ham fans have been so divided over the last year or so. It is nice to see us all unite in disbelief that David Moyes will manage us

Moyes didn't enjoy his time at Sunderland. I wouldn't say it was a barrel of laughs for us mate

"Moyes will get us fitter". Fuck me, is that the limit of our expectations? A junior school PE teacher could get us fitter in a week.

Moyes signed contract at Man. Utd. until 2019. In that time he's managed them, Real Sociedad, Sunderland & now West Ham – with a year left.
