West Ham were reduced to ten men in the first half of their 1-1 draw at Leicester City on Saturday after Mark Noble lunged at Wilfred Ndidi.

The Hammers captain was forced to pass the armband to teammate Pablo Zabaleta in the 38th minute with his side one goal to the good at the King Power Stadium after catching the midfielder above the ankle with his studs showing.

The sending off left the visiting fans frustrated as West Ham conceded a late equaliser and was labelled “ludicrous” by former player John Hartson.
