Watford have sacked head coach Marco Silva, issuing a strongly-worded statement that questioned the Portuguese’s commitment to the club following an approach from Everton earlier in the season.
After just one win in their last eleven league games, the club have moved swiftly in appointing his replacement – 47-year-old former player and Málaga manager Javi Gracia.
These were the best of the jokes as Watford sacked Marco Silva and appointed Javi Gracia in his place on Sunday:

Would love to know who approached Marco Silva just before he lost five of his last seven games at Hull. Should be ashamed of themselves

What are Watford doing appointing Javi García? A couple of games for Manchester City years ago and straight into management?! pic.twitter.com/QTPiiiujWt

The #WatfordFC / Marco Silva divorce was a result of 'unreasonable behaviour', Gary. Hope that explains it in a language you understand.
