Ole Gunnar Solskjær has returned to his former club to become Manchester United’s caretaker manager until the end of the season.
Solskjær spent 11 seasons at United as a player and replaces José Mourinho, who was sacked earlier this week after his failure to rejuvenate the team despite massive summer spending.
The Norwegian arrived at Carrington today to take training and has been on MUTV to speak about the job and what he hopes to achieve.
The team are expected to make a permanent appointment following the end of the season but the caretaker manager could be in with a shout if performances improve.
