These were the best Arsenal jokes as they fell to another opening day home defeat, this time 3-4 to Liverpool.

Recent seasons have seen Aston Villa and West Ham win at the Emirates on the first day of the season, and now Arsène Wenger is again under fire.

Jürgen Klopp’s Reds took a 4-1 second-half lead before riding out a late fightback to claim all three points.

As is becoming something of a custom, here are the best Arsenal jokes on Premier League opening day:

I've come to the conclusion that Arsenal can't be fixed. We sold our souls for an Invincible season, the price was never winning again.
