🌟 Mahrez/Sané/Bernardo Silva/Gündogan MCI, £9.2m/£8.6m/£7.5m/£5.5m

Lots to consider for Man City going into their home game against Brighton.

Riyad Mahrez, an explosive FPL performer in recent seasons, came off the bench to score twice at Cardiff and is available for £0.4m cheaper than his starting price for the season.

But can he force a regular place, especially with the revitalised form of Leroy Sané, who’s also available at a knock-down price due to prior absence?

Bernardo Silva looks like a bargain at £7.5m, but will he remain in a central attacking role or will Pep Guardiola decide to drop him deeper or play him out wide, where he’s less effective?

Ilkay Gündogan is another who’s by no means guaranteed a starting place, but as he showed at Cardiff he can offer goals and assists, especially as he takes set pieces.

With Raheem Sterling and David Silva also looking good, there’s a case to be made for having two or even three Man City midfielders in your squad.

Which ones, though, is no easy decision as things stand…and it could get even harder when Kevin De Bruyne returns from injury.

🌟 Erik Lamela TOT, £6.4m

His three substitute appearances have yielded two goals and an assist, so he could be in line for a start away to Huddersfield.

🌟 Aaron Ramsey ARS, £7.4m

Assisted both goals in the 2-0 win over Everton, and this weekend in-form Arsenal are at home to Watford.

🌟 Richarlison EVE, £6.6m

Looked dangerous on his return from suspension at Arsenal, with Saturday’s home game against Fulham offering a chance to pick up his goal-scoring form from the start of the season.

🌟 André Schürrle FUL, £5.9m

Fulham will fancy their chances at out-of-form Everton, with Schürrle already having bagged a couple of goals this season.

🌟 James Maddison LEI, £6.7m

He has three goals and an assist from his last five appearances going into the trip to Newcastle.
