On with the Gameweek 6 forwards, then…
Graziano Pellè, Southampton – £7.6m
With three goals and an assist from his last three games, the Italian is in fine form going into this weekend’s home fixture against a QPR side that’s lost 4-0 in each of their last two away games.
Whisper it quietly but Pellè could even be a shrewd choice of captain for Gameweek 6.
Leonardo Ulloa, Leicester City – £5.7m
The Argentine has five goals to his name already this season, and a game this weekend at Crystal Palace that promises goals if both sides’ recent results are anything to go by.
Danny Welbeck, Arsenal – £7.1m
Welbeck capped an impressive all-round performance with a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win at Aston Villa, so there’s reason to believe he could thrive against a Spurs side struggling for form.
Papiss Cissé, Newcastle United – £6m
Having stepped in from the wilderness to save Alan Pardew’s job with two goals against Hull, you’d imagine Cissé will start away to an erratic Stoke side.
Any Manchester United forward
They might concede an absolute hatful as well, but we’ll be amazed if all of Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie failed to score at home to West Ham this weekend.
Good luck and happy selecting!
