This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 37 captains round-up is here to give you guidance in selecting both your skipper and a handy vice-captain.
Recommended selections this week include players from West Ham, Liverpool, Sunderland and Man Utd.
1. Dimitri Payet/Andy Carroll, West Ham (midfielder/forward)
Double Gameweek time is here again, and Hammers players look the most attractive on account of the following factors: a) their fixtures against Swansea and Man Utd represent their final two games at the Boleyn, b) they’re in fine form, and c) they’ve still got something to play for.
2. Daniel Sturridge/Roberto Firmino/Philippe Coutinho/James Milner, Liverpool (forward/midfielders)
The Reds appeal as well on account of their home games against Watford and Chelsea, but there’s the danger of squad rotation due to their still-active Europa League campaign. Keep an eye on Thursday’s semi-final second leg against Villarreal for clues.
3. Jermain Defoe, Sunderland (forward)
He’s the key man for the Black Cats in their latest great escape, and his home games against the underwhelming pair of Chelsea and Everton represent a good chance to fill his boots. Be warned though that only three of his fourteen league goals this season have come at the Stadium of Light.
4. Anthony Martial/Marcus Rashford/Wayne Rooney, Man Utd (forwards)
Trips to Norwich and West Ham aren’t the most straightforward fixtures for relatively low-scoring United, but there’s still a top four place up for grabs.
Good luck and happy selecting!
