Recommended midfielder picks for this Gameweek include players from West Ham United, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea.

🌟 Michail Antonio WHU, £6.8m

He’s scored in back-to-back games at home, and that’s where three of his next four matches will take place – against Newcastle, Huddersfield and Everton.

West Ham also have the advantage of playing in Gameweeks 31 and 33, when the fixture list will be disrupted by FA Cup scheduling.

🌟 Sadio Mané LIV, £9.7m

Scored twice playing centrally in the 5-0 win over Watford, and he’s scored six goals in his last six games as opposed to Mohamed Salah’s one in five.

With a Merseyside derby at Everton coming up on Sunday, might it be time to switch Liverpool midfielders and save yourself almost £4m in the process?

It could prove an unnecessary transfer, because Salah looked bright against Watford and was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions.

Liverpool are one of the teams who play in GW31 and GW33, away to Fulham and Southampton – two matches where Salah could thrive.

But so could Mané, so if you use the extra funds to make the right changes elsewhere in your team, it could pay off in spades.

Or why not have both?

🌟 Gylfi Sigurðsson EVE, £7.2m

Exploded back into life with two goals in the 3-0 win at Cardiff, and his knack for goals in big games is something to bear in mind with Everton’s upcoming fixtures.

Their next four home matches are against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd, all of whom Sigurðsson has scored big goals against in recent years.

What’s more, the two most winnable-looking ones there – namely Chelsea and Arsenal – come in Gameweeks 31 and 33, when you’ll need all the players you can get.

🌟 Eden Hazard CHE, £10.8m

Tough one, this – he’s looked a little burnt-out of late, and came off before the hour mark in the win over Spurs, but he’s got a great fixture at Fulham.
