They may have blanked in the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle, but Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes had been in fine form before that.

This weekend’s home game against Crystal Palace is hard to call, but it’s worth noting that Burnley have fixtures in Gameweeks 31 and 33.

FA Cup scheduling will disrupt these Gameweeks, so players who definitely play then will come in handy – and Burnley have decent-looking matches for them.

They’re at home to Leicester in GW31 and away to Bournemouth in GW33, so either or both of these two could prove really rather useful.
