Let’s meet the ‘keepers, starting with those likeliest – at least in our estimations – to keep a clean sheet…
The Likely Lads…
Łukasz Fabiański, Swansea City (v QPR, home) – £5.2m
Swansea look solid at home, while QPR have lost all of their away games so far. Do, as they say, the maths.
Tim Howard, Everton (v Hull, home) – £5.3m
Because Hull have only scored once in their last five Premier League games, and Everton have generally tightened up since their free-conceding start to the season.
Brad Guzan, Aston Villa (v Crystal Palace, away) – £4.6m
This game could very conceivably end 1-0 either way, so you might also want to consider Palace’s £4.9m Julián Speroni.
However, Gameweek 15 pits Villa at home to Leicester City so Guzan could be the better option thinking ahead.
The Cheeky Punt…
Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester City (v Liverpool, home) – £4.5m
Liverpool may have snatched a 1-0 win at home to Stoke last time out but they still look desperately short of goals, so don’t rule out a shock win and clean sheet for struggling Leicester.
Caution Advised…
David de Gea, Manchester United (v Stoke, home) – £5.4
United have looked more solid of late, but Stoke look much better away from home than they do at the Britannia so this fixture could be far from routine for United.
Good luck and happy selecting!
