Watch as Junior Hoilett slides into a cameraman’s pit, seemingly unknowing until the last possible moment, during QPR’s 2-3 defeat at home to Middlesbrough on Friday night.
The 25-year-old winger had an eventful evening after coming on as a substitute for Matt Phillips in the 62nd minute of the clash with their promotion-chasing rivals.
After battling to get a cross into the box before the ball went out of play, Hoilett continued sliding off the pitch and ended up falling into a cameraman’s pit.
So fixated on looking at where the ball went after he managed to reach it with his foot, the player somewhat comically didn’t appear to anticipate the accident that was about to happen before dropping down the hole and out of sight – either that or he didn’t care.
Revelling in the player’s demise, the club created a vine of Junior Hoilett sliding into a cameraman’s pit during their televised Championship loss to Middlesbrough at Loftus Road.
