Zlatan Ibrahimović sent an opponent flying just after completing a hat-trick in LA Galaxy’s 3-2 win over Los Angeles at the Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday.
After proclaiming himself “the best by far” of all the players in the MLS, the veteran Swede backed it up by scoring a perfect hat-trick – a goal each with his right foot, left foot and head.
After smashing home his third, he wheeled away to celebrate in his inimitable style and immediately encountered an opposition player who’d been trying to track back.
He pushes him out of the way, sending him up into the air momentarily before he came crashing back down to the turf.
Los Angeles look likely to have the last laugh, mind – they remain nine points clear of Galaxy in the table.
