Zenit Saint Petersburg forward Malcom received his Player of the Month award from a drone flown to his window during the coronavirus lockdown in Russia.
The 23-year-old Brazilian joined the Russian Premier League club from Barcelona last summer but endured an injury-hit start to life at the Gazprom Arena.
His return to fitness saw him display sufficiently good form to win the club’s monthly prize for their best on-field performer, and it was duly delivered.
With people urged to stay at home amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was dispatched in unorthodox fashion – giving Malcom’s pet dog quite a fright in the process.
