One fan had to watch Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports News with high-pitched sound this weekend after his Sky box overheated.

The man claimed that even after an engineer from the company had attended his premises and replaced the box, he was left with the technical issue.

The programme’s pundits, including Matt Le Tissier and Paul Merson, can be heard alongside presenter Jeff Stelling squeaking out their remarks on the activity in the games on the day.

The sound fault was eventually fixed after a hard reset and some advice from fellow social media users.
