Retired general Moses Ali took a tumble when presented with a ball to kick at the Namboole National Stadium in Uganda.

The East African country’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament was reportedly officiating a government function at the 45,000-seater ground.

But the 79-year-old, said to have attended the British Army Staff College in Camberley, slipped and fell backwards before having to be helped to his feet by aides.
