VIDEO: Traffic light almost hits Ronaldinho’s car in India

Brazilian star narrowly avoids disaster as wooden pole collapses.

Watch as a traffic light collapses and almost hits a car carrying Brazilian star Ronaldinho as he is driven away from a function at a school in India.

The apparently “defunct” wooden pole couldn’t bear the weight of numerous fans clambering on it, hoping to catch a glimpse of the former AC Milan and Barcelona player.

The traffic lights dramatically fall to the ground in front of the vehicle, watched by the gathered crowd at the institution in the coastal state of Kerala.

CPI-M legislator A. Pradeep Kumar reportedly told IANS:

As soon as his car came out from the school, an old rusted traffic light post fell before his vehicle.

Seeing it, he smiled and the car sped away, negotiating the fallen post.

35-year-old Ronaldinho is a brand ambassador of the Nagjee International Football Club tournament and is in the country ahead of the recently revived Sait Nagjee Cup.
