VIDEO: Tanzanian assistant referee practices at home during isolation

Frank Komba hones his technique from his living room.

Assistant referee Frank Komba shared a video of himself practising running the line while stuck at home during isolation because of the coronavirus.

The FIFA-qualified official, dressed in his full matchday uniform, sidesteps across the room and signals by waving his flag at intermittent intervals.

— Hey #COVID19, you have been caught offside 🏁😎

— Staying home just like this Tanzanian referee is your air-tight tactic to keeping a clean sheet against #Corona 😉#StayHome 🏠

Barefooted Tanzanian-born Komba can also be seen talking back to imagined mouthy players who disagree with his decisions.

The clip received acclaim from the East African country’s Football Federation as well as the Confederation of African Football.
