Gerónimo Tieser of Club Deportivo La Armonía from Bahía Blanca, to the south of the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, conceded a long shot that looked well within his grasp in an attempt to show of his ball juggling skills.

Playing in the Liga del Sur, one of many regional leagues across the country, Club Atlético Pacífico’s Curuchet tried his luck from inside his own half midway through the clash on Sunday.

Instead of simply catching the ball or bringing it under control at the first opportunity, the La Armonía goalkeeper chose to bounce the shot off his shoulders – but it eventually bounced over the line, despite his late efforts to stop it.

The game finished 1-1 and Tieser was presumably lambasted by his teammates following the final whistle.
