This football jersey seller in Africa staged a scene where he was unable to unload any Manchester United shirts to prospective punters.

After exchanging the shirts of other teams for money, the man loudly announces the availability of Red Devils tops – but there are no takers.

A number of would-be punters standing around him decline to take him up on his offer, and as the crowd disperses he shunts the shirts at people as they walk away.

Despite a brief upsurge in form after the arrival of new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, it was another disappointing season for United in the post-Alex Ferguson era.

They were unbeaten for the Norwegian’s first eleven games in charge, winning ten, but ended the season losing eight of their last twelve matches in all competitions.
