Sam Allarydce did the ‘Take the L’ dance from Fortnite while appearing as a guest on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT.
Claiming not to have heard of the online video game before, the former England manager was persuaded to perform one of its famous moves in front of camera.
Making an L shape with a finger and thumb on his forehead, Allardyce kicked out his legs alternately in a routine also popularised by Antoine Griezmann.
It was also done by Pennywise the clown in last year’s remake of the Stephen King novel It.
Currently out of a job, Allardyce has managed Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Everton in the Premier League.
