Alexandru Gudea, goalkeeper for Romanian Liga II side Farul Constanța, was sent off in the 93rd minute of their heavy 2-6 defeat at home to Dunărea Călăraşi on Friday after getting involved in a fight with a pitch invader.

The supposed Farul supporter, wearing a vulgar-looking cap, somehow managed to make his way onto the pitch deep into added time despite a total match attendance of just 900 at Farul Stadium.

After receiving several blows to the head, the 19-year-old goalie then dived onto his attacker as the man was held down by a group of stewards and eventually had to be restrained.

Following the incident Alexandru Gudea was shown a red card.
