Watch Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane enjoy an awkward Skype call with an Irish couple in Australia, thanks to a team sponsor.

Earlier this month telecoms giant Three ran a Christmas competition for a chance to meet Robbie Keane and join a Skype call with him and a member of your family.

Entrants were encouraged to tweet the reason they’d like to win, using the hashtag: #BringingEveryoneCloser.

Spin forward a week or so and we have a man with a child Skyping a couple who have emigrated to Australia.

The emigrants, who have a baby on the way, show the young girl a cat and then the competition winner brings out Robbie Keane for some awkward small talk.
