Watch unsporting behaviour: Sheffield Wednesday’s David Prutton trips Forestieri as the Hornets forward celebrated scoring Watford’s winner at Vicarage Road last night.

In a thrilling, if sometimes scrappy, Championship encounter high-flying Watford emerged 2-1 victors despite trailing at half-time.

The game was occasionally bad-tempered and both sides could be accused of time-wasting, The Owls after they sneaked the opening goal thanks to a goalkeeping blunder and Watford after they grabbed what eventually proved to be the winner.

But there was even more unsporting behaviour on display as Wednesday’s David Prutton appeared to purposefully trip Watford favourite Fernando Forestieri, as the Argentinian-born creative starlet ran off to celebrate scoring his second of the game.

Prutton can’t catch Fessi with the ball so trips him after he scores. Tough guy. #WatfordFC #swfc twitter.com/WatfordPics/st…
