Preston North End’s Alan Browne scored a goal while a pitch invader was being chased at the other end of the field during Saturday’s 4-1 win at QPR.

A home fan was filming the pursuit from the stands at Loftus Road when he suddenly got wind of some goalmouth action in the opposite penalty area.

82' Goal. Browne heads in a third for Preston from a corner.

He swings round just in time to see Preston players wheeling away in celebration having just gone 3-0 up in the 82nd minute of the Championship match.

A mixture of ironic cheers and disgusted looks greet the double whammy of pitch invader and goal conceded among the Queens Park Rangers supporters.

Browne’s goal added to earlier strikes from Jayden Stockley and Jordan Storey, with Brad Potts adding a fourth after Matt Smith had pulled one back for QPR.

Alex Neil’s Lilywhites lie 18th in the table after the result, with Steve McClaren’s Hoops still six points ahead of them in 14th.
