A Portugal fan stole a France supporter’s French flag and replaced it with a Portuguese one behind his back as the two sides met at Euro 2020.

Spying a man browsing a market stool with a Tricolore poking out of his backpack, the mischievous Portuguese managed to prise it away and make the swap.

He then ran away, only to be pursued by the Frenchman who felt something amiss as the replacement flag was being planted.
