Portland Thorns fans booed mention of the President during a United States Armed Forces swearing-in ceremony at Wednesday’s game against North Carolina Courage.

During the Oath of Enlistment at half-time of the National Women’s Soccer League match at Providence Park, enlistees were asked to pledge to obey the orders of the POTUS.

This prompted loud jeering from supporters in the stands, who took the opportunity to voice their disapproval of Donald Trump.

Thorns were already three goals down by that point, and they went on to concede the same amount again after the interval on their way to losing 0-6.
