Watch as a player unties an opponent’s laces while he’s not looking during Atlético Paranaense’s 0-1 win at Deportivo Capiatá in the Copa Libertadores at Estadio Lic. Erico Galeano Segovia, taking place in the early hours of Thursday morning.
With a free-kick about to be taken, 36-year-old veteran Julio Irrazábal spotted the player standing beside him was distracted by something further down the pitch.
In the short clip you can see the cunning Irrazábal, bent over double under the pretence of placing the ball, take advantage of the opportunity to pull at one lace, untying the whole knot before running off.
It’s not known how long it takes for the victim to realise what happened.
