A pigeon could be seen walking around the pitch for a considerable part of Manchester United’s visit to Leicester City on Sunday.

Capturing the attention of viewers watching the television coverage as well as spectators in the stands, the bird idly pecked away at the grass while the game went on around it.

This pigeon has been on the pitch for most of the game. Quite happy to chill out and do what pigeons do. Only moves when Herrera goes near him/her. pic.twitter.com/Qs7HpmOKwb

Refusing to fly away, the common wood pigeon ended up spending around 48 minutes on the field.

Luckily it avoided coming to any harm during Man Utd’s 1-0 win at the King Power.
