Philadelphia Union unveiled a new snake mascot this week in a spectacular ‘egg hatching’ ceremony for young fans at Philadelphia Zoo.
The MLS side, who play their games in Chester in Pennsylvania, revealed Phang to supporters and press at the venue which was moved indoors after a forecast of rain:
From extensive research, golden eggs are not able to hatch in the rain. Based on this, we have to move our hatching location indoors. Our new location will be at “The Treehouse”…
