Watch Bev, a contestant on ITV game show Tipping Point get a Peter Schmeichel question spectacularly wrong in an episode broadcast on Monday.

When asked by presenter Ben Shephard:

Between 1991 and 1999, Peter Schmeichel was the goalkeeper for which English football club?

… confident Bev, on £400, immediately buzzed in, but answered:

Germany

Shephard frowns, repeating, “Which English football club…” while she can be heard letting out an audible gasp in the background, realising the error.

“Oh, my husband is going to be so cross with me,” she said.
