VIDEO: Paykan’s Nader Mohammadi scores with somersault throw-in

Wouldn't have been allowed if the 'keeper hadn't touched it.

Paykan defender Nader Mohammadi scored with a lengthy somersault throw-in during his side’s 2-1 win at Gol Gohar Sirjan on Monday.

It would not have been allowed had the opposition goalkeeper Alireza Haghighi not got a touch to it, but in this instance he made an unsuccessful attempt to palm the ball away.

The remarkable moment gave Paykan a two-goal lead within the opening seven minutes of the Iran Pro League match at the Imam Ali Stadium.

It leaves them sitting 4th in the table five games into the new season, while Gol Gohar sit top despite suffering their first defeat.
