A Partick Thistle ball boy was forced to wade in amongst the stinging nettles growing besides the pitch at Firhill in an effort to retrieve the ball during their Scottish Premiership quarter-final play-off tie with Ross County.
The youngster, who appeared not to have been provided with any gloves, had to root around amongst the plants, seemingly causing him considerable pain.
The full expedition was captured by the television cameras at the game tonight.
