Norway defender Maria Thorisdóttir fell off her chair in an interview ahead of a Women’s World Cup group stage clash against hosts France on Wednesday night.
26-year-old Chelsea player Thorisdóttir got a little too relaxed during the lighthearted discussion alongside her club and national side teammate, midfielder Maren Mjelde.

After being asked to write down what “the best thing” about each other was, the pair were invited to show their answers.
Expressing shock as she discovered her compatriot had described her as “ditzy”, Thorisdóttir realised the chair was going over backwards and collapsed onto the floor in a fit of giggles.
