Dereham Town’s new signing Jake Imrie wore a Porto shirt as he gave his first interview since joining the Isthmian League Division One North side.

Imrie spoke of his enthusiasm at once again linking up with Adam Gusterson and Olly Willis, the management team he played for Harleston Town.

But he donned the jersey of Portuguese Primeira Liga giants Porto as he spoke, betraying ambitions that may extend beyond the English non-league structure.

Gusterson and Willis are themselves both former Dereham Town players and have been in charge of the club since January.
