A naked Manchester United fan climbed a tree before the FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea at Wembley – and it was filmed for posterity.

Wearing just his shoes and a baseball cap, the supporter scales the tree for reasons best known to himself and gets pelted with beer-filled plastic cups for his troubles.

For reasons that are not quite apparent from this clip, he is also met with a chorus of “what the f***ing hell is that?” and he seems to get in a heated exchange with someone down below.

An Eden Hazard penalty in the 22nd minute saw José Mourinho’s Red Devils end the season without silverware.
