Referee Mike Dean appeared to utter “off you pop” to himself while showing Brighton defender Lewis Dunk a second yellow card before sending him off in a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.
The visitors were reduced to ten men in the Premier League game at Dean Court on Saturday after the defender was booked twice in just over ten minutes of the second-half.
Things went from bad to worse for Chris Hughton’s side after a late challenge on Callum Wilson saw centre-back Dunk given his marching orders.

The Brighton man initially received a booking in somewhat bizarre fashion after David Brooks was brought down by Yves Bissouma in the 62nd minute.
The typical English phrase could easily be lip read by viewers watching the referee on the television coverage at home.
Bournemouth won the game 2-0 thanks to goals in either half from Brooks and their opponents were unable to mount a comeback following the red card.
