Watch as Italian football superstar Mario Balotelli plays piano while Andrea Pirlo stands beside the instrument and watches.

The AC Milan striker treats a room of people to a beautiful rendition of the Italian national anthem, Il Canto degli Italiani or The Song of the Italians which was composed by Michele Novaro in 1847.

While several people watch, video and take pictures of the curious scene with their cameraphones, Pirlo remains almost eerily still with his hands firmly placed on the top of the piano.

The camera we see with circles the room, but we never actually get to see Balotelli’s face and hands on the piano keys in the same shot.

So, make of it what you will. Don’t ruin it though! It’s beautiful…

The composition, which has no accompanying description, is reportedly a viral video made by a “Chinese advertising agency”.

The fake-busting YouTube-using conspiracy theorist football fans have obviously been out in force.

Fake video. Look at Mario with his hoodie zipped up, while the pianist’s hoodie is not.

Unfortunately this is a montage, watch his sleeves at the beginning and at the end.

So he can play the piano… but he can’t put on a bib.
