A Manchester United supporter put her head in her hands when she realised Marcus Rashford was lining up to take a free kick against Chelsea.
Sunday’s match at Old Trafford ended 1-1 with strikes from Spanish duo Juan Mata and Marcos Alonso.

At one point, United won a free kick within shooting range of Chelsea’s goal and a number of players crowded around the ball to discuss their approach.
As they dissipated and it emerged that Rashford was taking it, one woman in the stands could not hide her despair.

Despite his confidence, Rashford’s record from free kicks is less than stellar – and sure enough, he blasted this one over the bar.
He has however managed his highest tally of Premier League goals in a single season, with 10 in 31 appearances.
