Manchester City defender Kyle Walker broke a corner flag into two pieces attempting to cross the ball during the 5-0 FA Cup win over Burnley.
Kevin De Bruyne had just played Walker in down the Clarets’ left-hand side during Saturday’s 4th round tie at the Etihad when the incident occurred.

Walker scrambled to prevent the Belgian’s pass from going out of play, just about succeeded then tried to swing it in from the touchline.
As he swung his boot, the corner flag got caught in the cross fire and snapped off at the root, leaving just the stump in place.

Fortunately, City’s Head Groundsman Lee Jackson was on hand with a replacement flag and the fixture was able to continue
Gabriel Jesus, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne and Sergio Agüero were among the scorers on the day, along with a Kevin Long own-goal.
