De Bruyne was caught by the pitch-side microphones appearing to yell “go get the ball, you m*****f*****” at the poor youngster who was waiting helpfully behind the sponsor boards.
There was no need to run after the ball anyway, as the kid had a spare one waiting.
Last night the former Chelsea player apologised to the lad in question and reportedly intends to send him a signed shirt in an effort to say sorry – something we’re sure he’ll treasure.
Eintracht’s Under-16 coach Jürgen Hickert, who has organised ballboys for the senior team over the past ten years, said:

In spite of their money and success they should be role models.
[Wolfsburg’s sporting director] Klaus Allofs said he is a good boy normally – then he should talk to him about certain practices.
